JULIE METZ LTD is a design firm specializing in book covers. My designs have appeared in the AIGA 50 Books, 50 Covers Show, as well as Graphis and PRINT magazine. I have worked in this field since 1985 on a wide range of titles including trade fiction, memoir, nonfiction, YA, New Adult, and cookbooks.

In addition to work for clients such as Simon & Schuster, Hachette, Random House, I am currently serving as Creative Director for She Writes Press and Spark Press. I have enjoyed my collaboration with CEO Crystal Patriarche and Publisher Brooke Warner since 2012 and anticipate further growth of both book lists (which operate under the parent company SparkPoint Studio) in the coming years.
